<p data-pasted="true" style="text-align: center;">In Loving Memory of Louis Heisler Faulkner</p><p>On April 12, 1954, in Wilmington, Delaware, Louis Heisler Faulkner was born as the third son of the late Harold Bernard Faulkner, Sr. and Dora Mae Faulkner. Known affectionately by family and friends as “Lou,” “Heisy,” “Pop Pop,” “Pops,” and “Grandpop,” Louis departed this earthly life peacefully on June 16, 2026, surrounded by loved ones, at the blessed age of 72.</p><p>Louis received his early education in the public schools of Wilmington, Delaware, and graduated from P.S. DuPont High School. During his years at P.S. DuPont, he excelled in athletics, participating in track and field, football, and competitive swimming. His dedication and talent earned him numerous letters and trophies in each sport.</p><p>Louis married Linda R. McClendon, and from this union were born three children: Anthony, Sharon, and Melica. Though the marriage later dissolved, the love and bond he shared with his children remained.</p><p> In 1997, Louis met Regina Williams, and they were united in marriage on June 29, 2016. Through this union, he gained three additional children: Michael, Matthew, and Erica.</p><p>Throughout his career, Louis was employed by General Motors, Alloy Surfaces, Ingleside Retirement Home, and Pepsi, where he ultimately retired.</p><p> Louis was always willing to lend a helping hand to family, friends, and neighbors. Whether shoveling snow, cutting grass, providing transportation, or assisting with household tasks, he found joy in serving others. He also faithfully shared in the responsibility of maintaining his mother’s property and took great pride in helping care for her.</p><p> A devoted grandfather, Louis loved transporting his granddaughters to daycare and school, cherishing every moment spent with them.</p><p> When his mother’s health began to decline, Louis was a constant source of support. Alongside his siblings, he helped care for her, making sure to visit daily and speak with her regularly by telephone.</p><p>Louis was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Friendly rivalries filled the home whenever the Steelers played the Philadelphia Eagles, as he and Regina passionately supported their respective teams. He also enjoyed watching basketball, Shark Week, and Family Feud.</p><p>Known for his remarkable memory, Louis earned the nickname “The Almanac” among his siblings. There seemed to be no question he could not answer and no fact he did not know. He will also be remembered for his calm demeanor and unwavering faith in God. A devoted believer, he faithfully read his Bible and made it a nightly routine to pray for his loved ones. He will be fondly remembered for the loving way he greeted his daughters with a warm, “Hey baby,” & “Hey hun.”</p><p>Louis was preceded in death by his parents, Harold B. Faulkner, Sr. and Dora M. Faulkner; his brothers, Herbert Faulkner and Bernard Faulkner; his beloved son, Anthony E. Faulkner, Sr.; and his granddaughter, Dejae L.
